Alcoholics Anonymous History

By Dick B.

The history of the early A.A. Christian Fellowship
and its Bible roots

Incorporate History in your program, your group,
and your life.

Here’s What We Offer

·       Seventeen years of solid research, documenting early recovery programs and successes. Christian Endeavor, the Salvation Army, the Rescue Missions, the YMCA, and the Akron AA Christian Fellowship.

·       All embraced very similar ingredients: Abstinence, Reliance on the Creator, Obedience to His will, accepting Christ, Resisting temptation, Increasing fellowship through Bible study, prayer, God’s guidance, and reading. And topping it off with unselfish, unpaid, compassionate love and service.

·        Some organizations were huge: 3,500,000 in worldwide Christian Endeavor; Millions assisted by the Salvation Army, the Rescue Missions, and the YMCA—41 million impacted today. Those children of our Heavenly Father who really tried were delivered from the power of darkness because their early leaders studied God’s Word, promoted salvation, prayed to Him for help, and     witnessed to others the freedom from fear, guilt, and addictions He provided.

·       Our websites tell the facts free— http://www.dickb.com/index.shtml; http://www.dickb-blog.com; http://freedomranchmaui.org

·        We’ve posted 160 articles—60 audio talks—two radio programs—all free.

·        For those who want a more solid foundation—working as sponsors, group leaders, speakers, counselors, therapists, teachers, and facilitators—we publish a reference set of 23 titles covering every aspect of history; we offer the reference set at a large discount; we sell individual books at a discount—29 titles in all; and we have two new guidebooks enabling you to use our materials in a chapter, a segment, as an add-on, or as a supplement. These two are The Good Book-Big Book Guidebook and A New Way Out. Order them both for openers so you will see how to grow individually or as a group, and how to offer more to all. We’ll help you in every possible way to get started and know your facts!
